When Pam reached out to me to do some extended family photos for her and her family, I was so excited! I love working with big families! Extended family photos are basically like a bunch of mini family sessions all in one! I always start with a big group shot of everyone together. Then I switch it up by breaking it down into smaller groups and capturing each separate family individually!
When I arrived at the gazebo in downtown Fenton to meet “Pam and Fam” for their extended family photos, it was a bright, sunny morning.
When they showed up, I was so excited – they looked like models! Seriously, dressed just perfectly for the occasion! I always tell my clients that light pinks and blues LOVE the camera, and boy these guys just prove it! I started giving all of my clients access to my exclusive style guide about a year ago. Since I started doing this, my clients have always seemed to show up well prepared and dressed so beautifully! And I am HERE FOR IT!!!
We started our session next to the gorgeous river area that runs through Downtown Fenton… However, it was mid-morning and the light was directly overhead. I had seen an amazing “field” nearby on my way to the shoot. I say “field” because it was really more of an empty lot on the side of the road filled with weeds! But, where someone else sees weeds, I see Narnia HAHA! I just knew that the lighting in the field would look so gorgeous for these photos. So we headed over there! I was so happy they trusted me, and hiked across Downtown Fenton, through a park, over a bridge, and to this field – because their photos are pure MAGIC!
OH, and I almost forgot to mention that the girls in these photos are TRIPLETS! And the day of our shoot was their 30th birthday! HAPPY B-DAY Felicia, Danielle, and Tiffany – I hope it was wonderful!
This family is so kind and beautiful, inside and out! Pam and Fam, thanks for being such awesome and kind clients, I hope you love your photos!
