easily steal the spotlight away from a beautiful backdrop. But every now and then, a location and a
couple fit together so flawlessly that it feels like magic! After just a quick glance at Ashley and Matt’s photos, you’ll certainly agree that their Ford House engagement session was one of those breathtaking treats!
I first discovered the potential in a Ford House engagement session when I second shot a wedding for a friend. We did the bride and groom’s portraits there. I knew right away that I had to bring one of my own gorgeous couples and my camera there ASAP! Enter Ashley and Matt! When they mentioned they were looking for a completely opposite vibe from their upcoming wedding photos, which will be in more of a nature setting; I knew that the Ford House was just the spot!
Their kind hearted and warm personalities, along with their ability to joke around so comfortably were perfectly showcased by the classic elegance, romantic rose gardens, and epic waterfront views at the Ford House! It was, without a doubt, meant to be! But what is most incredible about this session and this pair is unquestionably the love that they have for each other. Each time I asked them to snuggle or share a kiss, the romance was off the charts! These two are so in love! I can’t wait until this summer, when their love story becomes a Happily Ever After.
Let’s be honest: how could the images be anything less than stunning with a pair like this one in front of the lens! Finding the perfect spot to take engagement photos isn’t always easy, but you better believe I’ll be returning to The Ford House over and over again!
