My BFF wanted a floral cake smash for her daughter’s first birthday photoshoot, so we brought a whole floral market to the studio! We had so much fun capturing these precious photos to mark the occasion of Fallon turning one. She has been walking for a couple of months now, so she is basically a pro. This made for a lot of running around, dancing, and chasing little Fallon. Needless to say, we all got a workout and I ended up taking a nap after her session! HAHA!!!
And did I mention, she happens to have the best taste in music I have ever seen for a one-year-old? I asked Mama what music we should play to get Fallon in the mood for a fun photoshoot, and she put on Luke Combs! The music started, and Fallon just started dancing away. It was just about the cutest thing EVER! Also, she is a better dancer than me!
I am so happy that her Mom came prepared for this little floral cake smash. We had this beautiful setup, but couldn’t get Fallon to stay on the set for a little bit… there was just too much fun stuff to look at! She brought lots of little treats to keep Fallon distracted from running around too much. We got creative, sticking cheerios into a little drawer for her to sit still for pictures for a little bit! This is now going to be a tip for cake smash prep for ALL of my clients! Bring all the treats!
We finished off the session with the cutest little cake, homemade by Fallon’s own Grandma! Can I just say what a great job she did?!? It looks adorable! Check out the super cute photos we captured from her session!
