For months, I have been noticing some construction going on just a few miles up the road from my house. I kept wondering what must be happening on the gorgeous piece of land every time I passed by. Finally, one day, I noticed a sign that said “Tandale Nature Barn” and I HAD to learn more! The photographer in me mourns a little bit every time I see land being torn up for buildings. So, you can imagine how EXCITED I was to learn that this was an event venue and NOT a neighborhood! All of that gorgeous, pristine landscape is not going anywhere!
I called up the venue to see if I could take a tour and learn more about it. Austin is who I spoke to, he is the Executive Director there. He was so kind and gracious. He gave me a tour of the barn and property, and even shared some of their future plans for the space! I am so thrilled about this amazing venue, that I just had to share it with ANY brides hoping to get married in the Brighton area!
The Tandale Nature Barn is the most beautiful, modern barn that a couple could dream of for their wedding day.
It is all new construction, and every detail was executed to perfection! Seriously, they thought of EVERYTHING. From the twinkle lights along the ceiling, to the cocktail area with a gorgeous bar and custom stonework, this venue has it all! The ginormous, gorgeous windows provide breathtaking views of the meticulously maintained 25-acre property surrounding the barn, complete with a beautiful pond. A custom-made wooden head table sits in front of that gorgeous window. It makes for the most beautiful focal point. The outdoor space to the side of the barn is a beautiful patio with bistro lights twinkling above, lined by lush landscaping- including hydrangeas, lavender, and towering trees. The amenities are amazing, even down to the bathrooms – which have the coolest entrances, and even hammered copper sinks!
For your ceremony, this venue has multiple outdoor location options. The ceremony location options are SO BEAUTIFUL, I have no idea how couples will choose which one to use! One of the spots is overlooking the beautiful pond. Another spot is in a clearing in the woods and features a pretty heptagon archway altar. There are also plans for a third option, it is described as “a deconstructed chapel” – and it is going to be AMAZING!!
One of my favorite things about the venue is the luxurious bridal suite on site!
Much like the rest of the venue, every detail is pure perfection! It is the perfect place for the bride tribe to get ready for the big day. Tons of natural light, along with beautiful seating and plenty of mirrors will make for “getting ready” photos of your dreams!
