Baby Jaxson
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to capture the Poike family for their in-home newborn lifestyle session. When I begin my newborn lifestyle photo sessions, I like to start by capturing some photos of the nursery. I love seeing and capturing all of the little details that the parents have so carefully planned and put together. Jaxson’s nursery was no exception. It was decorated in a beautiful neutral palette with small pops of color in the accessories and decorations. There were little hints at a woodland theme without being “over the top” and I LOVED it! I don’t know how I keep getting so lucky, but every home that I step into for an in-home lifestyle newborn session blows me away. You would think that all of my clients are interior designers.
We were able to capture so many sweet moments to commemorate this special time. Big brother Bryce was so excited about his new, and very important role in the family. Bryce happily kissed his baby brother’s head every time I asked him to (sometimes even without being asked)! Mom and Dad were so relaxed and welcoming, and I truly enjoyed spending this time with them. These in-home lifestyle newborn sessions have quickly become some of my favorites to capture. There is just something so sweet about bringing a new baby home. You can tell the family has been prepping for this moment for a long time, everything is so fresh and new. I always feel so privileged to get to be a tiny part of the very beginning of this new journey for my clients.
