I absolutely love doing engagement photos in downtown Milford, Mi! There are so many gorgeous places to do photos in such a small area. That gives my clients such a great variety in their sessions. So, when I was asked to do this photo session, it was the first place that came to mind! I felt so honored when my beautiful cousin, Lexi, asked me to do this very special session for them!
They showed up looking awesome in the cutest coordinating outfits for portraits.
I always try to stress to my clients just how important outfit selection is for setting the tone in your photos. I even have an entire board on Pinterest dedicated to it, you can find that here.
It was so much fun walking all around downtown Milford, Mi taking these engagement photos with Lexi and her fiance, Carl. They are the sweetest couple. They are high school sweethearts, and they go together like “cupcakes and frosting”. You can just feel the love between them looking through these photos. He has a way of making her laugh that is just so heartwarming! I felt like I barely needed to pose them, they just embraced on their own. These photos are truly a display of their natural connection to one another.
We finished the engagement photos in Kensington Metropark, which happens to be one of my favorite spots to do any portrait session. It is so perfect because there are nature trails, lakes, docks, and bridges; basically all the makings of a beautiful photoshoot! These two were such troopers. It was so hot and buggy, but we got through it, and despite the heat they still had smiles on their faces. Enjoy this beautiful session! It was such a fun night for us, and it could not have gone more perfectly!
