I was so excited to capture Briana and Brent’s sunny and romantic wedding at the Brick Walker Tavern in Brooklyn, MI. When I first met them a few months ago, at their winter engagement session – I just knew that they were going to have a beautiful wedding day. Bri had so many ideas for her day, and I was so excited to see them come to life! From the custom beautiful, wooden bouquets to the floral arch over the ceremony site; there were little touches of beauty all over the place! We ended the night with an epic sparkler exit, which was such a cool way to finish up my day! These two are probably the nicest people ever, with the biggest hearts and they share so much love for one another. I found myself tearing up during their private vow reading during their first look.
This was my first time shooting at the Brick Walker Tavern. I was so in love with the big white barn and the surrounding lavender and greenery! The getting-ready space was within the adjacent historic home, on the very top floor. It was such a cool place to explore and to take photos!
The sun was out in full force, and the heat was REAL on their day, but they didn’t complain a bit. It resulted in the most beautiful, sunny and romantic wedding photos, and I could not be more excited to share some of my favorites!
A big thank you to all the vendors who helped this day come together so beautifully!
