I am so excited to be back to blogging again! I must say – Lucy and Austin’s golden hour maternity photos seemed like the perfect session to jump back into blogging with! When Lucy first reached out to me about doing her maternity and newborn photos, I was so excited! First of all, I saw that her and Austin are literally the CUTEST couple. And secondly, she was so sweet that I just knew we would get along great!
Fast forward to our session the other night. We had been prepping for these photos for quite a while. Lucy had the most amazing outfits and ideas for her maternity session – but the weather had other plans. It was a grey, cloudy day and rain was forecasted for the evening – right when we were supposed to start! With her due date quickly approaching and a reschedule being difficult due to a busy schedule for everyone, we decided to just go for it! We got so lucky, because the sky completely opened up, and we ended up having the most beautiful, sunny night! We got so much golden hour glow for these special maternity photos! I can’t wait to meet up with this sweet family once again in just a few short weeks, when their little boy makes his debut! Check out some of my favorites from their maternity session below!

Golden hour is the perfect thing to coin our session because every image seems to have a magical glow!
